This banana bread recipe requires minimum effort, and is likely to become a firm favourite.

Directions
In a food processor, whiz 125ml (4fl oz) sunflower oil, 200g (7oz) caster sugar, 2 large eggs, 1tsp vanilla extract, 3 mashed ripe bananas, 175g (6oz) plain flour, 1tsp bicarbonate of soda and ½tsp ground cinnamon, then turn into a lined 900g (2lb) loaf tin,
sprinkle with dried banana chips (optional) and bake at 180°C (160°C fan) mark 4 for about 1hr, drizzling with glacé icing when cooled, if you like.
