In this video, I react to some of the trends that I see other online publications reporting on. I go over the trending lists from Vogue, Insider, Good Housekeeping and Insider to see what they think are the big interior design trends of 2023. To me, this just goes to show that so many of these trends are subjective, so take them all in as ideas and create a home you love!

  1. Super excited for art deco we are furnishing a lounge area in our home with an art deco, industrial, brutalist, hw regency vibe haha. I think colored marble is fun but in furniture pieces not necessarily in the build, i agree with people getting sick of it quickly.

  2. Oh, my God, that crazy blue and white tile/backsplash Hass to be one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. I hope to God that's not a trend. If it is, I give it six months.

  3. My house is 690 ft.². I love it. For a while I kept thinking I needed a bigger house and I'm so glad I didn't get one. I live alone and it works just fine for me.

  4. While I don't think most people can have a listening room, I do think there has been a trend towards buying music on records and socializing at home. People might not want to go a club to hear live music as much as they use to. And for people who have a rumpus room or basement might focus space towards music instead of TV or even video games. I would love to move to bold blue from millennial rose.
