@Turtle Creek Lane, the home of designer Jennifer Houghton, is transformed each year into a unique and jaw-dropping Christmas wonderland. Jennifer’s theme this year was the Nutcracker ballet and we were lucky enough to get a personal tour of her “Land Of Sweets” inspired family room. 1. In 2020 I can only see the gross waste of resources needed to pull off a new look in every room of the house each yearr. That is a lot of plastic and the earth can't support a new look in every room each year – even if some things are reused there is still a lot of plastic that gets tossed. There is s lot of plastic in the ribbon and fiberfil (frosting) alone which are difficult to reuse and I'm sure get thrown out even if everything else is reused- and I'm giving her credit for reusing items without knowing if she does.
